Synopsis

A puppet rendition of Huckleberry Finn's escape from his abusive father (made for extra credit in Honors English class). Huck Finn digs out of his cabin, makes his father believe he was killed (by spraying pig blood all over the place--really quite tasty), and floats away on his raft. The end.

Influences

Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. Oh, and I mimicked the opening shot (a pan over reflected lights in water) from the closing scene in Bryan Singer's The Usual Suspects.

Method

Filmed in one day by a local river.
